The first edition of Fashion for Good was held in Rome and Florence from July 4 to August 2, 2005. The students were coming from 4 universities: Western Kentucky University (USA); IULM (Milan, Italy); La Sapienza (Rome, Italy) and University of Siena (Italy). Professors and facilitators were both coming from business and academia, from USA and Italy.

 

The first week was spent in Florence, the second in Rome with a full involvement in the Fashion shows of AltaRoma and the organization of the Round Table focused on Fashion and Non Profit. During the Roman week the students joined Caritas Romana for a social work day at Stazione Termini. The Round Table was part of the cultural program of the Fashion Week. The last 2 weeks were spent in Florence. Fashion for Good was presented at the press and public in Florence and Rome and was mentioned by some newspapers and TV networks.
